Positive Affirmations to start your day

I’ve been having Difficulty getting up for work in the morning. Is there something you recommend to start the day feeling more motivated?

This is a great question, thank you for sharing that starting the day can be tough. Myself and many others have been there. One thing I have been implementing lately is stating affirmations to myself when I need a little extra encouragement.

Affirmations are statements of support that can help you through various moments in the day. For example, before climbing I tell myself, “I am strong.” It’s simple yet powerful. 

The use of an affirmation can take your mind away from the negative. Instead of waking up and lingering in bed feeling dread, you transition your thoughts towards a more uplifting and supportive direction. 

Affirmations help you focus on what you want. The mind is a powerful place. Stating affirmations that invite a positive mindset will support you throughout the day. 

Affirmations shift your energy by providing a reset. Affirmations can interrupt our typical thoughts and replace them with productive thoughts.  

Here are a few affirmations that are great for the morning:

-Today is a new beginning 

-I am capable 

-My potential is limitless

-I can embrace my challenges and learn from them

-I invite joy into my day

-I am strong

-I am ready
